It’s never too late to be who you might have been.

Ducks on land:
One of the two swans occupying the ‘lake’:
Work has been a lot of fun. I’ve noticed that working in heels isn’t so bad. I mean, I’ve worked in heels as a teacher, but with that job, I’ve had many chances to sit down. Not at this job… the only appropriate time to sit is during my break, and lately I’ve been wandering out into the mall and spending a dollar to get an electronic chair massage, which really really helps! If only those chairs had prepaid gift cards, I would definitely invest in one!!
We also finally got some snow yesterday, and I’m hoping it stays so that Ann Arbor drivers get used to it. The last thing I need right now is a car accident…. it looks really pretty outside. I’m really starting to see my apartment as a home, not just a place where I live… I’m still feeling confused about the future, but I’m happy about living in the moment…I’m not worried. I may have my moments, but I’m living in the present and enjoying what I’m given. I’m living off the land. I’m working towards making my dreams a reality. Life may be moving slowly, but that’s exactly what I need, and I’m taking this time to breathe it in.
I forgot… my brother had a birthday over a week ago. Alice, Lee and I all went out to Bennigan’s to celebrate. He forgot to tell the waitress that it was his birthday, so he missed out on the free dessert – but Alice and I picked up the tab, so it didn’t matter.
