Hi Heather!
Was this photo taken today? We just left the island yesterday. We were there from Thursday until Sunday. Looks like we just missed the rain? Had a lovely time as always. We visited in May, July, and then over the Labor Day weekend this year. Already looking forward to next year’s visits! I really enjoy your blog! Take care! Melody
I believe it was the night of the 3rd. I’m almost sure of it because it’s the first photo that I’ve posted in a long time and I know that I posted it the same day that I took it. It almost seemed like a flash flood of sorts! My sister and I were shopping at Mackinac Outfitters at the time when it happened. Thankfully I had my raincoat, because it seemed like something was a-brewin’ that evening 🙂
